SCD

Founded by Derek Howarth whilst working as an assistant to Henry Moore, SCD has grown from its roots (a shed at the bottom of the garden) and developed in size and stature to be regarded as the premiere sculptor’s workshop in England for up and coming film and TV technicians in set construction and figurative carving.  In essence many an aspiring artist, now professional in their own right has passed through SCD’s studio doors. 

Derek is an internationally renowned sculptor with his work held in private collections across the U.K., Europe and America.  As an Associate of the Royal British Society of Sculptors he is a visiting tutor to various art colleges and schools.
